Facility with mathematics is important to an increasing number of professions including computer science, biostatistics, actuarial sciences, engineering, physics, and more.
Girls' Angle brings women who love and understand mathematics together with girls.
We empower girls to become problem solvers via customized mathematical experiences. In the process, Girls' Angle
produces quality math educational content in a variety of formats.

- provide quality mentoring by talented women like Tamarkin Fellow Bianca Viray
- develop fun, effective math educational activities and experiences
- provide quality, original content in our bimonthly magazine, the Girls' Angle Bulletin, written both
by Girls' Angle members and distinguished mathematicians such as MIT math professor Bjorn Poonen
- produce high quality math educational videos
- produce our Women in Mathematics video series
- engage in community outreach opportunities
- continue to build a supportive community of people helping each other to advance to the next stage
We also aim to create new events that will encourage girls to explore the thinking power of their mind, be a force
that promotes equity in the mathematical profession, and provide ideas, tools, and materials that improve
US math education in general.
